During that tragic period, schools were destroyed, property was looted, and many teachers were killed or forced to flee the country. The education system faced enormous challenges. In response, parents in Ruhango took a patriotic and courageous step to support the rebuilding of the nation through education. They believed that quality education especially practical and technical training was essential to empowering young people and rebuilding society.
